KMAP
A specific product supporting the Knowledge Map of the INTEROP project (a European Network of Excellence on Enterprise Interoperability). For Plone 2.1.
Defines
- a number of domain "entities" (people, groups, projects, workshops, publications, ..)
- grouped in 3 major categories: people, activities, research results
Defines a number of relationships
- each linking an entity to another of the same or different type
- some are simple binary relationships
- other are "contentish" relationships
Supports
- editing of all entities and relationships
- bi-directional navigation of all relationships
- non-semantic search, based on all data fields of an entity description
- a multi-step approch to browsing, mixing non-semantic search with navigation of direct and derived (computed) relationships
- a large number of more or less complex "canned" queries
- time-charts of time-referenced search results.
